Frequently asked
Questions we hear often.
Brief, honest, no marketing. If your question is missing, please add it to the screening form below.
Who is behind Tribu?
Two founders, no agency shell: Marco Selenati and Wolf Maria von Mecklenburg. Both of us work on every engagement in person. No junior team doing the real work while slides get polished upstairs.
Who do you work with?
We work with service providers in Switzerland. Typically owner-led companies from roughly 20 employees, cooperatives and value-driven brands. What they share: organically grown structures, real customer relationships, and serious pressure to modernise.
What sets you apart from larger consultancies?
Three things. First, we implement what we recommend - no deck left for the client to run with. Second, we always work as a pair, with shared responsibility for strategy and technology. Third, we take fewer engagements and stay longer. Partnership is our default, not a marketing word.
What does an engagement cost?
Our three packages have clear ranges. Tribu Audit: CHF 18k to 45k, depending on depth and company size. Tribu Modernisation: CHF 85k to 180k for a focused project over 3 to 6 months. Tribu Partnership: CHF 180k to 420k per year for operational support across 12 to 24 months.
The final figure depends on scope. We name it in writing before you sign, not after.
How long does a project take?
An audit runs 4 to 6 weeks. A modernisation 3 to 6 months. A partnership is scoped in 12 to 24 months, with quarterly targets and the option to exit cleanly at any time.
How does it start?
Screening form, 45-minute first conversation, a written short concept with price and exit option. No pitch deck, no sales reps, no success-fee pressure. If we both agree, we start. If not, we'll name someone from our network who might fit better.
Are we too small or too large for you?
Too large is rare. Too small can happen: for very small companies under roughly 10 employees without an in-house IT role, our audit is usually oversized. In that case we say so and point to trusted colleagues who fit better.
Where is our data stored?
By default, in Switzerland. We work with Swiss data centres and Swiss hosting partners. Where European services are needed, they are named, contractually governed, and covered by revDSG- and GDPR-compliant frameworks. We comply with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act and, where relevant, FINMA guidance.
What's your stance on AI?
Sober. AI is a tool, not a goal. We recommend it where the benefit is concrete and where data, law and operations can support it. We turn it down where it just adds noise or obscures accountability. Details in our ethics commitment.
Can we exit at any time?
Yes. Every contract includes a defined exit with a handover package: documentation, source code, credentials and a half-day handover session. No leashes, no lock-ins, no data formats only readable at our end.
Do you work in English?
Yes. Conversations, workshops, documents and contracts are available in German or English. Most of our clients operate in German; the working language inside a project follows the team.
